United Way Fine Art Camps
Celebrate the Arts
Instructor: Kathy Nelson
Our Fine Arts Camps are packed with fun and challenging activities that encourage creativity and growth for a lifetime. Campers will explore a variety of mediums such as graphite, paint, pastels, charcoal, sculptural materials, found objects, and much more. Each week includes art instruction, hand-building in clay, dance & drama, and a visiting guest artist. The Arts Center partners with the Moultrie Recreation Department to offer campers pool time once a week. On Friday from 1 pm to 2 pm, campers will perform their group dance & drama piece and display their works of art in a gallery style setting. We welcome families and friends to attend the Friday events.
Camps include morning and afternoon instruction in art, music, dance, and theater. All camps work with pottery. Students will swim at the Rec. Dept. pool one day per week. Breakfast and lunch are provided but please bring a snack each day!
