Oil Painting with Myra Hurst

Get started with a whole new world of rich and vibrant color with the unique medium of oil paint. This class will be the foundation you need while working with the medium. Whether you are a beginner or more accustom to acrylic paint and want to try something new, this will cover all the basics. In this workshop, Myra will walk you through creating a barn painting from start to finish. Perfect for all levels of experience.

October 2nd – 4th
10:00 am – 4:00 pm with an hour lunch break
$300 + $25 supply fee (for those who need it)

Artists are welcome to bring their own supplies to use for the workshop or pay $25 for them to be provided to you. A supply list will be emailed to the registered attendees.


About Myra Hurst

Myra Hurst is a local Omega, Georgia artist and has been painting for over 20 years. She prefers working with oils but also works well with pastels, acrylic paints, and ink. Her subject matter consists of old houses, flowers and animals of all sorts.
