Our Fine Arts Camps are packed with fun and challenging activities that encourage creativity and growth for a lifetime. Campers will explore a variety of mediums such as graphite, paint, pastels, charcoal, sculptural materials, found objects, and much more. Each week includes art instruction, hand-building in clay, dance & drama.
This summer, The United Way has, again, graciously provided funding for the Colquitt County
Arts Center’s Summer Fine Arts Camps. The Arts Center is so thankful to be able to offer camps
during this time, and we look forward to providing arts programming this summer.
Per the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, there will be a 9:1 ratio of students to
instructors. Masks will be required of students and instructors and will be provided if needed.
The Arts Center is taking every precaution to provide sanitizer to students and to ensure that all
campsites are sanitized periodically throughout the day and at the end of each day. There are
plans in place to keep groups separated without intermingling during activities and to ensure
that groups enter the building at separate entrances, while parents remain at the door or outside
in order to limit people in the building at all times. Student safety is our priority.
Meals including lunch and breakfast will be generously provided by the Boys and Girls Club at this year’s camp!
Limited scholarships are available for families in financial need with proof of 4 weeks of income or through a recommendation from the student’s school.
